Born and raised in “South Detroit” (a.k.a., Windsor, Canada), Monik’s passion for the automotive industry was ignited at an early age. Living in and around Detroit through the late '70s and '80s, galvanized his purpose to help put the city back on the map.

So, after graduating from The University of Michigan and Harvard Business School, Monik came back home to Detroit.  Since then, he’s served many automotive and non-automotive clients at consulting firms and agencies including McKinsey & Company, Deloitte, Digitas and Team Detroit.

As Chief Marketing Officer of Latcha+Associates, Monik leads our client marketing services efforts and our continued evolution as an industry-leading, fully integrated marketing partner. It’s a challenge that Monik embraces with the zeal of a man focused on helping Detroit to thrive once again.

Little-known fact about Monik: Despite being terrified by “Jaws” as a child, Monik is now a certified SCUBA diver and enjoys swimming with sharks.
